I’m torn apart
For you have arrived too soon,
And I can’t help but think about the life
That I wanted to have before you;

I wanted to be a better man,
Before I knew you would appear,
So you’d never be more proud,
Of the man you’ll hold so dear

And now I have to find the courage,
To embrace the unexpected
Or muster all that I have in me,
To spend my life without you;

Praying with no certainty,
That you’ll appear in the right time,
Unsure in my faith,
That you’ll ever again be mine!
