The anticipation is killing me,
The way my projecting mind won’t stop,
From warning me about what’s to come,
And the state I’ll be in,
When all is said and done,
It’s a gift to know what will happen,
Being in the same situation,
As many time before,
Just to make the same decision,
To not change my inevitable future,
Then wonder how will I sit,
In the same place,
And ask myself the same damn question,
As if I have the slightest clue,
As if I’ll ever really know what to do,
The curse of a faithful feign,
Acting as though I am simply naive,
Just for a fix of love,
The faintest indication of appreciation,
Just to be left for nothing,
Oh the anticipation, The anticipation!
